Galactic Charts
Re: Galactic Charts
Added a field age calculator on the Input page.

Will finish the field age tool on the private field page tonight.
I aged this field from mining a Siderolite and entering the amount of silicon it yielded.

Once again, rmartz.: Good Job, mate.
Re: Galactic Charts
Built a weekly page count review. Only I get to see it, but thought I would pass on the usage numbers. I do not track who, just the count of hits per page. I exclude my visits to the site, so these are all other users.

There are 23989 open Planets/Moons surveyed and their Soil Samples are searchable at this time.
There are 92 out of 343 sectors surveyed at this time. Systems and Fields can also listed by Sector within the 3 Sector open area.

46% carbon and geo 5. I am probing it right now. Will report back what I find.
It has no atmo, so I will set up a OSB to supply gasses for any who want to develop there. I plan to gate it to MP(20 ly) and maybe Provision (12 ly). It is just a little over 20 ly from Apollo.
It is 3g so there will be plenty of room for thousands of colonies. Terraforming any time soon will not really be an option, so domes will be the way to go for now. I will also get a lot of graphene in the OSB there for those who need it.
I am continuing to search -y from Apollo Sector. I hope to find more great planets soon.
Feel free to use the Search feature on http://charts.ascentextras.com/searchsys.php to find just the type of planet you are looking for.
I can find 32 and 34 ,,, but no 33.

It has been renamed to Carbomite.
Once renamed, the old name is no longer accessible in System search.

Ah, thanks, like to take a look.

All systems are open for anyone to explore, colonize, or mine. Most planets have enough room for hundreds if not thousands of colonies. One of the things I like about the game is the lack of control one player can exert over another.
With that all said, you would be more than welcome in Carbomite or any other system you find that connects to you.
