A deed is a circle with many legs … the above image inscribes the deed inside a square.

The colony name, that appears in the image, marks the origin plot (i. e. 0,0) of the deed.

The bottom table is the legend: What each letter in the above left table represents … a grey background means that a given plot has buildings on it. A simple planning strategy.

The idea is to start a colony quickly producing mats from the center of the deed ... often the location of highest material concentration.

Black plots have little material to produce so are ideal for power, water, control (ex: SM) and factory buildings.

After you do the deed (

), build a linked OSB to stockpile mats and park your big ship to use a shuttle for building.
