Palace pieces suggestions

Hi there,

3 Palace pieces are currently in Beta.

I am looking for suggestions for further pieces.

The goals of the Modular Palace:

    1. Money sink for billionaires - must be expensive
    2. Must be worth buying (just enough to convince the super rich to buy them
    3. Must not be OP - must not be something that makes super rich people too powerful or makes people without super-wealth feel powerless / like they'll "never make it"
    4. Ideally should be an in-game status symbol

So with that in mind, ideas for new pieces? What should a 250, 500 billion credit piece give you?

Should we add a 1 billion piece? What would it do?

An OSB palace module - the bonus would give 5% morale

An OSB Hospital - Health care bonus

OR

An OSB to Colony Hospital transport

Palace Module for Animal Whisperer - gives bonus to animal production

Entertainment Dome - Dome gives slight influence and morale bonus. This also gives a fireworks display nightly at two hours past local sunset.

master guild lodge: depends on how you want to handle guilds but in this scenario any guild member can contribute to this special osb station and form up for fast teleport to combat scenario or mission... the default without a guild special is forming up at standard rally point.


250B house of truth ;p allows a short (approved) message when entering planet/ system? perhaps it's 1 is at planet 2 is 2nd message and 3 is system wide?

1B can we have some lights :) (osb/colony)

group money sink... the galactic senate osb nothing scream i have more then a bigger seat at the political house.
two tiers to this the osb itself (modified star-base) that means hauling and parts to build perhaps at janius? and second private investment for better political box to sit in.

as far as colony specific..not sure, unlikely i can't afford any so not really looking, waste all my cash on gates.

Not a palace but an orbital guild Space station. Incredibly expensive obviously in both credits for the BP & also in materials.

1. A meeting place for guild members promoting in game community.
2. A place where guild members can post missions/ bounty's and material requirements at guild rates.
3. Ships/ modules could be bought and sold there.
4. repair facility for members
5. Message board for guild info

This really is something that many vet players have had on their wish list for a while.

Well your asking for 500 bill are you not? 250 for BP and 250 for actually build + materials

Anyway here is my wiews. 8-)

1 billion Palace module
Adds an ingame floating personalized message to all visitors at 0.0.0

250 billion Palace module
Adds an ingame mailbox where people of the verse can warp in and leave a message for you and you can reply.

500 billion palace Module
Adds an ingame option to color your buildings at colony" :mrgreen:
Any support to my just cause! :)
Can be given in form of Iron and Carbon at Route 6 planned gateway to Route 666

Whatever you decide to go for i recommend using this as an opportunity to try to create demand for normal resources.

Make they resource cost qty high as the market supply/demand in general is broken/ non existent.

Improving moral in our production centers seems meaningless while the supply/demand side of things is crapped out.

Here's a few thoughts I've had in past and bringing up again.

100b - Deep Space Penetrating Radar System: +5% Colony Air Defense, -5% Criminal Activity
200b - SHREDS -Space Homed Radar Early Detection System: +10% Colony Air Defense, -10% Criminal Activity
100b - Hotel/Resort: +5 % Entertainment Bonus, -5% Production
100b - Amusement Park/Recreation Center: +5 % Entertainment Bonus, - 5% Production Bonus
150b - Militia Training Center: -5% Moral Bonus, +10% Ground Assault Colony Bonus
150b - Air Defense HQ: - 5 % Moral Bonus, +10% Air Defense Colony bonus
100b - Constabulary: -5% Criminal Activity, +5% Morale bonus
200b - Secret Police HQ: -10% Criminal Activity, +10% Morale bonus
200b - Casino: -10% Morale bonus + 10% Criminal Activity
300b - Advanced Shipyard Facility: -1 week x Class, +Specialized Ship Building Facility (Class 15 and above) and Specialized blueprint enhancements. (To be determined by Jam) (Outer Starbase only item). Allows for the production of survey, defense (turret/missile) and early warning radar satellites in orbit for deployment in system ONLY. +10% Air Defense Colony Bonus. -20% Morale.

Cool ideas :idea: but way to powerful for the modules according to the question Jam asked in this thread.

Palace of good fortune-- Increased chance to spawn a rare roid- 1% increased chance per palace. 100B bp and 100B to build each palace
