Influence and Knowledge are stackable and effects are additive.
Temple of Joy effect should reduce the multiplier as more are added.

Everybody stacks, diminishing returns.
Influence adds like 50,000 + a % of population. So you can dominate a planet/system with an influence palace and a tiny population if you so choose.
Elections henceforth will consult total influence not population, which will include morale - so if you're at 10% morale your voting influence will be only 10% of your population. This was always intended, just hasn't been implemented up until now.
FYI Palace pieces seem to be working as intended - very wealthy active players are spending huge proportions of their idle bank balances on them. This makes them the ideal money sink for this game
