About I'm acting as support to other players shipbuilding efforts.

I'm a supplier to players who mine exotics and have an extensive shipbuilding business.

… My shipbuilding production replaces exotic material through barter.

Foreword My barter terms for shipbuilders and individual players..

My main focus in this game is new player support and retention as players in this game.

I've discovered many unnecessary difficulties including inflationary price tendencies.

To avoid more inflation, goods exchange terms: 125% of the niobium, tin used in producing ships.

… This is a volume discount for shipbuilders: At least 5 ships or 10 modules exchanged.

In some module build cases, electronics and mechanical parts are used as currency.

New players can take possession and mine materials for payment, as is convenient for them.

Desired Some Yeti module bps are not available to me.

I will exchange a standard player Yeti without HD (HD: 125% of n/t required) for:

2 each of: Electronics, Gravity Generator, Propulsion, Reactor modules OR
4 each of: Electronics, Gravity Generator, Propulsion modules

… The reason for the huge differences in prices is the cost to acquire niobium and tin.

In the real world, Aluminum and Tin would be in the same price range.

So where is Lime and Silver? Silicon is just sand and ought to be easy to acquire.

Barter is the only way to insulate yourself against the ship price spiral upward.

Contracts Inner planets Contract Board niobium and tin buy ranges

NPC Contract Boards buy Niobium between ¢19,000 and ¢22,000 per unit
NPC Contract Boards buy Tin between ¢5,000 to ¢9,000 per unit.

Player Stock Markets sell Uranium between ¢1,000 to ¢3,000 per unit. Isn't Local Market tin a bit high?

Of course, the current market price for Niobium and Tin is actually $150k and higher.

With prices like the above for Niobium and Tin … barter makes a lot of sense.

What is the point of the Local Market buys? Only freshly-minted players would sell on the LM.

Barter has one additional strong point, it can change exotic material scarcity.
