Player community beyond Ascent

Postby Moneyman » Wed Feb 14, 2018 1:21 pm

 We've lost too many friends over the years due to game stagnancy.

Frankly, it is very boring not having anything new to learn and in-game chat only active occasionally.

My view of Space Engineers See the Space Engineers Steam thread: Haven for Ascent players for SE conversation.

This game has red zone in spades if that is what you want BUT only if you want it ... I don't.

There is a lot to learn in SE since its heavy avatar and vehicular (including ships) movement in-game.

Oh, there is no waiting for class 16 hull blueprint to show up ... Players create blueprints as well as ships.

And players change (thru mods) the play space for the server they are on.

We need to put up server(s) minimizing PvE and excluding outsider PvP on Ascent players.

We need to get some of Ascent's better ideas into SE including new player support.

Keeping friends in the community Chatting with friends mostly or completely out-of-game.

A lot of us play more than just Ascent ... The task is to keep friends close.

For SE, it means having server(s) for Ascent players and continuing Ascent forum conversations.

What are your thoughts about keeping the community intact?
